How Excited am I. Loved Leonie's Launch show and I am sure you did too. Now I have the opportunity to share some of the samples I made.
These stamp collections and Stencils are so versatile. I have to admit when they first arrived, I was suffering from Craft Block. But once I got going, there was no stopping me. Dont know why I was so worried about completing 6, I could have done 60.
I have been playing with them for weeks. I have 17 projects to share from this launch. Some of them are very simple, using only one stamp and others are more elaborate. I have to let yo know how easy it has been to create such a variety of looks and styles. Well done Leonie, a great collection.
For this card, I started out by marking out the square for the finished card. Then with hardly any pressure on a pencil (Almost resting between your fingers) I marked out the main focal point. Then I added a couple more around the edge. I have made the pencil lines a bit darker so they show up.
Taking the first stamp I made a couple of masks as these are needed as the images overlap. Then I stamped along the line being careful to make sure the right images were masked. I then did the same with the other stamps I selected on the other main lines.
When I had completed that, I took my other stamps to fill in the spaces. Then took graphite sticks to add shade and dimension. In areas that I wanted a more dramatic look I used black fine liners.
This would look stunning in colour maybe monotone and completely different using mixture of vibrant colours.
I am entering this card into the Suzy Bee's Challenge.
This is truly beautiful - thank you for thinking of it and for showing us how.
