Friendship Flowers

Morning, I have had these beautiful stamps from Imagination Crafts for such a while but just haven't had the time to use them. Sue brought them to Hochanda a while ago, so I thought I would make a card with them and share with you today.

I wanted the card to be really colourful, so went about making so vibrant backgrounds to show of the silhouette style stamps. Ii decided to use the Spectrum Aqua Markers from Crafters Companion, I started with the yellows/Oranges and swiped colours across my card diagonally using a sponge direct from my glass mat.

I then repeated this with the Blues/Mauves and then the Reds/Pinks.

Using black Versafine Ink, I stamped the images onto each of the backgrounds.

I then made the background card by using all of the colours graduating across, again diagonally.

Once I had cut out each of the flowers I was left with some coloured card, so I took a small strip of each of them and joined them together, then stamped my chosen sentiment. This one is lovely from Bee Crafty.

I backed each of the images onto black card and the same for the sentiment.

Then I backed my main background piece onto the same black card.

To finish the card, I positioned the flower toppers onto my card and added the sentiment. I secured all of the elements with Cosmic Shimmer Glue.

Thank you for visiting today, I hope you have enjoyed the step by step I have shared and the finished card. I hope to see you all very soon. Take care and Happy Crafting.xx

  1. Another wow card. Somehow so simple when explained(although I would never get backgrounds looking like that!) but looks very complex.
    Lovely and definitely bright.
Thank you for sharing. Nicola x
