Very Exciting Day, A couple of things to share with you all.

Morning. Justin and Gordon from Be Creative are on Hochanda today with some amazing new colours of the Wonder Crystals. I do hope you got to see the first show, they are on again at 1pm so do try to tune in. ere is a vase of Roses that I have made with the new colours.

They are made in exactly the same way as my Ribbon Roses, but using only the Wonder Tape. Just take the required length of Wonder Tape and treat as you would the ribbon. I used the excess tape to attach the rose to a length of copper wire, to act as the stem.

Then coated the finished piece with Wonder Crystals and heated with the heat tool.

There are some very exciting things to Share with you. Firstly Leonie is back on Hochanda with her Typography Rage with a twist next week.

Secondly, Which I am very excited about. I was asked if I would like to join the Crafters Companion Design Team. I have gladly accepted, I would have told you earlier but I had to wait. I am so pleased that I am able to share it with you today, there are lots of Very exciting things coming up. Thank you for stopping by. Take Care and Happy Crafting.xxx

Another visit due to Popular demand

Morning, I've had quite a few requests to share this card, I'm didn't understand how to back link it so I have copied it for today's post. I made this card using Leonie's Dies back in June. It's from the Stamp and Die collection she launched on on Hochanda. I am so chuffed that so many of you liked it, the step by step is below for anyone new wanting to know how I made it.

To start I cut the 'Entwining Branches' Die from copier paper to make myself a mask. Then positioned and secured to my Velvet cardstock, which measured 6'' Square.

I built up my landscape first, using a selection of distress inks and masks. You can use torn copier paper to make masks for the hills and mountains. For this I used: Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge and a small touch of Aged Mahogany. I blended the colours to leave very pale colours at the bottoms of the hills and mountains to add a feeling of depth.

I then added my trees to the landscape sizing them to add to the perspective of the land. The are tree stamps Drawn by Sheen Douglas.

I positioned a circle mask, which would become my sun and coloured the sky using mainly scattered Straw, blending the edges with a little Wild Honey Distress Ink.

I removed the mask from the sun and added a small amount of Scattered Straw Distress ink to take away the starkness of the white. I then added the 'Be Happy' stamp. I finally matted this onto Satin Gold card before mounting onto my base card.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and I hope you will be back again. I do have exciting times ahead and will let you all know as soon as I can.

Bye for now, Take care and Happy Crafting xxx

Happy Birthday card using the Collection from Leonie

Morning, Didn't Leonie have a busy One Day Special Launch on Hochanda. I am so glad it was so popular, I knew it would be as soon as I opened my parcel. Here is my first Step by Step using her new collection.I thought I would kick off with a colourful Birthday card, it really shows off how versatile this collection can be, using just a few of the items.

My base card for the was 7 1/2 inch square. I cut a wavy line in some copier paper to act as a mask and positioned it onto my card base.

Taking the stunning tree, I inked up using black Archival ink I filled the gap I had created, I was going to be colouring with my Aqua markers from Spectrum Noir, so archival is a great ink pad to use.

I removed the copier paper, which left me with the design and a sharp edge ready to colour. For this card I used the Spectrum Noir Aqua markers but the choice is yours. I wanted multicoloured but it would look stunning using shades of a chosen colour.

Next I took one of the frame stamps from the Banners and Frames set. Holding the stamp at either end above my block, I gently stretched at the centres to achieve the shape I wanted for my sentiment and adhered it to the block.

I stamped this onto my card, then added the Happy Birthday sentiment from Leonie's Rag Doll set into the frame.

I then used the largest frame from the Banners and Frames set to create the edge around my card, inking up just the part that was needed. I layered this onto black card. I cut around my sentiment leaving a small border and placed this onto my card using Collall 3D glue.

Many thanks for visiting today. I hope you have enjoyed my first step by step along with the finished card. Do have fun with your collection. See you very soon. Take care and Happy Crafting.xxx
