Christmas Rose

Morning Everyone, I thought I would share a little frame card with you today. It's a card I made for the launch of the  wonderful 3D Embossing Folders from Crafters Companion. I love these folders, the detail, depth and dimension is super, I have said it so many times, they are such beautiful designs, so I like to show them off as simply as possible.

You will need:
Christmas Rose 3D Embossing Folder
Spectrum Noir Metallic Pencils
Black Card
Textures Embossing Folder 'Bark'
Centura Pearl Ivory Card Base 7 1/2 x 6 1/2
Pebeo Gilding Wax  (A selection)
Collall Tacky Glue
3D Glue Gel
Foam Pads or Foam Tape

Step 1: Emboss your black card 5 x 7''. Colour with the metallic pencils.

Ste 2: Cut a frame 6 1/2 x 7 1/4, the inside measures 6 x 5''. Emboss this with the textures Bark folder. Bring out the texture with a selection of Gilding waxes.

Step 3: Mount the frame onto your project with either foam tape or foam pads, then mount onto your base card.

Step 4: Use some scrap card to emboss a few more flowers, colour and shape them. Position and secure them to your frame using 3D Glue gel.

Beauty Comes From Within

Morning Friends and Crafters, Thank you for joining me today, it's great to have your company. I was lucky enough to be asked to make some samples with the Spectrum Noir Metallic Markers. So today I am sharing one of the samples I have made for the show along with a tutorial of what I have done. Please keep a look out  for the show on Sunday (30th September), it will be filled with lots of inspiration for you and ideas of how else they can be used.

You will Need:
Spectrum Noir Antique Elements Metallic Markers
Sheena Stamping Card
Centura Pearl Precious Metals Card
Black Card
Silver/White Centura Pearl Card Base
Sheena 'A Little Bit Scenic' ''Flying Colours''
Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen
Tacky Glue
Alcohol Markers
Memento Black Ink

Step 1: Start by adding your text, , I cut my card to size before I started, The size will depend on what you choose to write and how large you write it. I used Aged Copper here.

Step 2: Next I added some little flowers using the tip of the brush nib, pressed gently to the paper to form the petals. I used Aged Copper and Tarnished Silver.

Step 3: Next I added a black mat to my base card and secured with Tacky Glue. Then added a layer of precious metal to match the topper.

Step 4: Mount the topper on to the base with Collall Tacky Glue.

Step 5: Stamp a butterfly onto Sheena Stamping Card, I used Memento Black ink as I was using Alcohol Markers.

Step 6: Colour the image and cut out.

Step 7: Shape the wings, position and secure to the project, this time with Collall 3D Glue Gel for dimension.

Here is the finished card, with some Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen Added:

Christmas Sleigh

Morning Friends and Crafters, today I am sharing with you, a card I made with the Christmas Dimensionals. Again this is a two project tutorial as you really do need to decorate the outside, especially when you have put so much work into the inside. I am sure you all know how much I love these Dimensional ranges, they are so inspiring and make very special cards to give.

You will need:
Sleigh Concept Die
Sleigh Accessorie Die
Festive Words 1
Sparkling Snowflakes 1
Festive Foliage 1
Sleigh Accessories Acrylic Stamps
Tissue Paper
Infusions 'Royal Blood'
Sheena Stamping Card
Red and Gold Mirror Card
12 x 12 Plain Paper Pad
12 x 12 Decorative Paper Pad
Green, White and Blue Foamiran
Centura Pearl White/Silver Card

Step 1: Put a piece of tissue paper on a glass mat, spritz and sprinkle with royal blood, spritz again and leave to dry. Once dry add this to the top of your base card to form the sky.

Step 2: Cut a selection of presents and ribbons, layer these up with Tacky glue. Next cut the moon, stars, trees and houses for decoration.

Step 3: Add Mountains and hills to your scene, secure yellow card behind the windows of the houses to look like lights, add these to your scene. Cut in your concept dies, cover the sleigh with the mirror card, for the reindeer, stamp and die cut from the light brown in the paper pad.

Step 4: Cut the poinsettias and leaves from the foamiran.

Step 5: Cut your mats and layers from the paper pad and Centura pearl. Cut the sentiment in blue, Dies cut the edger die either side of your topper.

Step 6: Arrange and secure your layers as shown in the photo.

Step 7: Add your trees, snowflakes, presents and all of the little extras to finish the inside.

Monochrome Mandala

Morning Friends and Crafters, Today's card is a monochrome easel, I made it for the launch of the Die'sire Create a Card Easels, launched on Hochanda. This is such a strong design that I really wanted to show it off, I think it speaks for itself, without adding any fuss.

You Will Need:
Henna Easel Create a Card Die
Sentiment From the collection
Matt Black Card Stock
White/Silver Centura Pearl
Burgundy Mirror Card
Burgundy Satin Ribbon
Tacky Glue

Step 1: Cut your base card from black card.

Step 2: Cut the larger piece again from black and cut the design into it.

Step 3: Cut a base piece, wrap the ribbon around it and secure it at the back with red liner tape.

Step 4: Using both dies, cut a slim frame from the Centura Pearl. Secure this with tacky glue as shown, then trim the excess.

Step 5: Cut the design again in black card, select and cut out the design you require. Place this section back in the die along with a sheet of white Centura Pearl, run through with the embossing plates, trim and secure to the card with Tacky glue.

Step 6: Repeat this with the full design. Cut a large top shape in white. To finish, layer up the design and add the matching bow, this will also act as your stopper.

Merry Christmas Tree

Morning Everyone, Today I am sharing a card I made for the launch of the Winter Wonderland, Signature Collection from Sara. It's a really simple card to make, using just a few elements for the superb collection, another card that would be perfect for batch making as well.

You will Need:
Winter Wonderland Snowflurry Edger Die
Winter Wonderland Snowflake Quartet Die
Winter Wonderland Elegant Tree Die and Stamp Set
Winter Wonderland 6 x 6 Foil Transfers
Winter Wonderland Foil Rolls 'Winter Blue'
Centura Pearl White/Silver A3 5 x 14''
Distress Ink Shaded Lilac & Blueprint Sketch.
Embossing Powder from the collection
Versamark Ink Pad
Anti Static Bag

Step 1: Position your edger die at the end of your card. It needs to be cut on the Shiny Side.

Step 2: Score from the opposite end at 5, 10 and 10 1/4''

Step 3: Reinforce and fold the score lines as shown.

Step 4; Take the 'Merry Christmas' transfer sheet and position on your card as shown.

Step 5: Wipe the inside centre panel with the anti static bag, The with Versamark ink, stamp the tree and snowflakes, heat emboss these. Then using the Distress inks, blend the colours, leaving it lighter towards the tree, to make that the focal point. Fold the decorative panel up and secure with foam pads or 3D Glue gel.

Cosy Fireside

Morning Friends and Crafters, Today I am sharing two cards in one. The main card is made with the amazing Christmas Dimensionals from Crafters Companion. They really are inspirational and although I hate this phrase, the possibilities really are endless, if you can imagine it, you can make it come to life with these. Spending so much time on the inside really does mean that you have to make the outside look great too.

You will Need:
Fireplace Concept Die
Tree Concept Die
Tree Accessories Pack
Fireplace Accessories Pack
Festive Foliage 1
Festive Words 1
Holy Vine Embossing Folder
Fireplace Accessories Acrylic Stamps
Tree Accessories Acrylic Stamps
12 x 12 Plain Paper Pad
12 x 12 Decorative Paper Pad
Centura Pearl for your Base

Step 1: I find the easiest way is to mark your scoreline with pencil first. Then secure the decoration to your scene. Once dry add your fireplace element. Then cut your fireplace a second time with Centura pearl and secure to the fireplace with Tacky glue.

Step 2: Cut the tree in green and secure to the back wall in your room. Then emboss a piece of cream card, this will make a nice rug, add some trim to coordinate with your decor.

Step 3: Stamp, Colour and cut out your extra elements, then add to your scene.

Step 4: Add the mirror, wreaths, baubles and tinsel to the tree, making it feel really festive.

Step 5: Cut out a selection of mat and layers, dependent on the finished size of your card.

Step 6: From the green, cut out the Ivy and the seasons greetings. Cut out the Seasons Greetings a second time in red and layer it up with Tacky glue to give a shadow behind.

Step 7: From the cream, cut out some poinsettias.

Step 8: Arrange and secure your decoration to the front of your card as shown in the photo.

Christmas Wreath With Winter Wonderland

Morning Friends and Crafters, there's a funny story behind this project. I was making this in the heat of summer. Very rarely does anyone come past the house being in the middle of nowhere, but the minute I went outside to spray this about 4 lots of people passed, looking puzzled, Very difficult to explain in Bulgarian. I have used grapevines to make the wreath base along with Winter Wonderland a Signature Collection by Sara.

You will Need:
Winter Wonderland Seasonal Sprigs
Winter Wonderland Entwined Holly Embossing Folder
Winter Wonderland Luxury Mirror Card all 3 colours
Winter Wonderland Luxury Glitter Card all 3 colours
Grape vines
Stick n Stay
Spray n Sparkle Silver
Cinnamon Sticks
Matching Satin Blue Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun
Collall Tacky Glue

Step 1: Make a wreath base from Grapevines, it's really easy to do and best of all it's free and looks great.

Step 2: Spray with Stick n Stay, add flowersoft, Mica Flakes and anything sparkly that you have.

Step 3: Spray here and there with Spray and Sparkle.

Step 4: Wrap the cinnamon sticks into bunches with the matching satin ribbon.

Step 5: Cut a selection of Seasonal Sprigs using the  luxury cardstocks.

Step 6: Emboss some of the luxury mirror card.

Step 7: Cut into squares to make some Christmas Gift decorations.

Step 8: Use the tacky glue to secure the boxes shut and tie with the silver twine.

Step 9: Use the hot glue gun to secure all of the elements to decorate the wreath.
