Very Exciting Day, A couple of things to share with you all.

Morning. Justin and Gordon from Be Creative are on Hochanda today with some amazing new colours of the Wonder Crystals. I do hope you got to see the first show, they are on again at 1pm so do try to tune in. ere is a vase of Roses that I have made with the new colours.

They are made in exactly the same way as my Ribbon Roses, but using only the Wonder Tape. Just take the required length of Wonder Tape and treat as you would the ribbon. I used the excess tape to attach the rose to a length of copper wire, to act as the stem.

Then coated the finished piece with Wonder Crystals and heated with the heat tool.

There are some very exciting things to Share with you. Firstly Leonie is back on Hochanda with her Typography Rage with a twist next week.

Secondly, Which I am very excited about. I was asked if I would like to join the Crafters Companion Design Team. I have gladly accepted, I would have told you earlier but I had to wait. I am so pleased that I am able to share it with you today, there are lots of Very exciting things coming up. Thank you for stopping by. Take Care and Happy Crafting.xxx

Hammered Silver Platter

Hi, Something very different today, Made from cardboard that might otherwise have been thrown away. I also used some Silk Clay from Creative Company, along with the Wonder Crystals and Wonder Tape that Justin & Gordon from Be Creative bring to Hochanda.

Years ago I found a battered silver plated try, which had been hammered, so I wanted to make something similar to that with the Wonder Embossing Crystals and add an emblem in the centre. I started by cutting out a 12' circle from an old cardboard box.

I then cut another identical and this time cut a smaller circle within it. This would form the rim of the tray. I stuck this to the base using Cosmic Shimmer Glue from Creative Expressions.

So there wasn't a step between, I used silk clay to form a slope between the rim and the base.

I covered the whole project using Wonder Tape, then covered it with 'Lodolite Quartz' and 'Picture Jasper' Wonder Embossing Crystals. I made it thicker in some areas to give it an uneven surface. Where it is thinner, the surface is pitted giving it the hammered look.

For the centre emblem, I covered a piece of card with a Wonder Sheet and drew a 6' circle. I then added my design inside the circle and cut out all of the sections.

I then peeled off the backing sheet from each section, using the Wonder Crystals I embossed each piece. The colours I used are:

To finish, I secured the design onto the base of the tray using Cosmic Shimmer Glue.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit today. I hope you liked the finished project along with the step by step that I have shared. Hope to see you again very soon. Take care and Happy Crafting.xx

Snow

Morning, While I had the opportunity, I just had to make a card using the lovely paper pads that Justin & Gordon from Be Creative brought to Hochanda. They are excellent quality with some beautiful designs.

For this I chose the beautiful Snowflake sheet along with the deer striped sheet.

I didn't want a full 8x8' sheet but I also didn't want to lose the beautiful edge design, so I cut a couple of inches from the centre from side to side and joined back together with tape on the reverse. I then took a sheet of Hint of Silver Centura Pearl and embossed it with the 'Entwined Snowflakes' by Sue Wilson.

Using a 2 part bauble die and the Snow die from Leonie's Entwined collection, I cut them out using the paper pad, I also cut some that I had covered with the Wonder Tape.

I then layered these u to use on my card later.

I had also cut the overlays of the baubles in card covered with Wonder Tape. I peeled the backing off and covered with Crystalina Glitter. At the same time I highlighted areas of the paper using the glue wand the same glitter.

I backed the embossed card onto some matching pearl card using Cosmic Shimmer glue.

Where I had joined the paper, I took some coordinating Seam Binding wrapped it around the card and secured on the reverse with Wonder Tape.

I then backed it onto the same matching card as I had used for the embossed card.

To finish the card I added the 'Snow', Baubles and a matching messy bow made from the seam binding. I used the 3D Glue Gel to raise the elements from the base card.

Thank you so much for visiting today, I hope that you have enjoyed my Step by Step and the finished card. I have to recommend these paper pads, I cant explain to you how fantastic the quality is, they also take inks really well to match any project you are doing. Hope to see you soon. Take care and Happy Crafting.xx
