Powertex Poppy Tile

Morning everyone, Today I am sharing something I made using a Be Creative Stamp in conjunction with a mixed media Powertex project, ripped Calico, fabric, ribbon, sand n balls along with luster paints.

You will need:

Be Creative Vintage Poppies Stamp

Be Creative Luster Paint or Pebeo Gilding Waxes

Powertex Bronze

Powertex Sand n Balls

Silk Clay

Tacky Glue

Ripped Fabrics

Deco Art Antiquing Cream

8 x 10 Zutter Board or similar

Step 1:Roll out a piece of Silk Clay about 1/4'' thick, slightly larger than the stamp. Place the stamp face down on the clay and roll a couple ore times to get a perfect imprint. Leave to dry.

Step 2: Position onto your board and secure with Tacky Glue, Leave this to dry thoroughly with a book or similar to ensure it dries flat. I suggest overnight.

Step 3: Coat each piece you are adding with Powertex and build up your design. Add your Sand & Balls last and go from largest to smallest, adding the sand last. Leave to dry.

Step 4: Use a stencil Brush or an old hard brush to add bronze luster paint, building up the colour to really bring out the texture of the whole design and stamp.

Step 5: Add Deco Art Antiquing Cream to create more depth and colour. Then add further layers until you are happy with the result. If you are using gilding was instead, you can do the same.

Spring and Summer One Day Special

Morning, Hope you all enjoyed the Bank Holiday and the wonderful weather. Debbie is with us today on Hochanda with a great one day special, with a super price too. I have used both 'The Spring' & 'The Summer' set so I am sharing some of the samples I have made for the shows. Debbie will be on again today at 9 am, 1 pm and with the last chance show at 5 pm this afternoon.
