My Nan Marjorie 1922 - 2008

Morning, I changed my mind about the card I made to share today. It was going to be a Christmas Card using Dies By 'Sue Wilson', however today is 8 years since I lost my Nan so I am going to postpone it until tomorrow. Today I am dedicating my blog to celebrating her life with some photographs. This is actually one of the first crafty things I made, which people actually saw. It was the service card. It has a vellum insert with the service on parchment. Outside is her photo, a simple black ribbon and a dried red rose bud (Her Favourite Flower)

Nan as  a baby in 1922.

Her Wedding Day

She really did love her Garden, I think that's where I got my love of gardening

My 30th Birthday, spent on holiday at Disney in Florida. I had always wanted to go and it was a dream come true. I will never forget it.

A lovely day trip to Castleton, feeding the ducks, eating ice cream and the most wonderful carvery.

Nan and I getting ready for a fancy dress while on holiday in St Annes in the 80's.

Nan with her Brother and Sister in law when we were living in Javea.

Nan and I on the Queen Mary 2, having a wonderful time, shame the camera caught her mid sentence.

Life Boat Drill.

One of the last photo's of her. The day she met her Great Grandson.

Lastly a few others:

Thank you ever so much, I am sure you dont mind me missing a project for one day. It was really important to add this post today. Take care xxx
