Hi, The card I am sharing today is using the Feather Stamp Set that Bev featured on Hochanda last week. I absolutely adore them, they are simply beautiful and so well drawn, the detail is superb and they stamp like a dream. The stamp I have used coupled with one of the Bee Crafty Sentiments, shows just how little you have to add to make a lovely card or project.
At this point I wasn't 100% sure what size my finished card was going to be, so I took a sheet of Navy cardstock, dusted it with an anti static bag and embossed the feather using white fine detail embossing powder.
Then I took the sentiment, stamped using Versamark and embossed using the same detail powder. I then cut the card to 6 1/2 x 7''.
Next came the fun part, I wanted to add some splats to the design. I masked the edges first, mixed some white acrylic paint with a little water and started adding the distressed detail.
I wanted to keep this very simple as the feather speaks for itself, I cut a piece of white Centura Pearl from Crafters Companion to give me a 1/4'' border around the card. Then wrapped some matching navy ribbon around it, securing it at the back with tape.
I secured my topper to the background using foam tape and Collall 3D Glue Gel before layering onto a coordinating navy card base.
Hopefully you like what I have shared with you today along with the step by step. It would be lovely to see you again soon so dont stay away too long. Take care and Happy Crafting.xx

Memories
For this card, I wanted to make my word float across a fantasy sky, so what better than the Glitter Brush pens from Leonie. I also wanted to have things hanging from the word, the stamps and stencils are from the collection Leonie launched on Hochanda on October 13th. Please do check as the shows might just still be available Via 'Rewind' on their website.
This time I wanted to fill my word 'Memories', so I secured the stencil to my card with Stick n Spray from Crafters Companion and stamped with the Foliage stamp from the collection.
I removed the stencil and replaced it with the mask. I used the heart stamp to hang from the letters using another of the stamps to connect them. I then added some of the flying dragonflies.
Next I added some of the balloons, I love these and they are such a useful stamp to have and great for so many occasions.
Leaving the mask in place, I masked the stamped elements with Pebeo Drawing gum. For the background I used the Glitter Brush Pens, to blend the sky from very dark blue to a deep purple, I also wanted a lighter area in the centre. The colours I used from top to bottom were Cobalt and Arctic from the 'Frosty Christmas' set. Then Lilac, Lavender and Iris from the 'Wrapped Up' set. When this was dry I removed the drawing gum and coloured the stamps with my alcohol markers.
To finish, I layered it onto Centura Pearl 'hint of silver', then onto deep blue Centura Pearl, both by Crafters Companion. I used the Collall Tacky Glue to secure.
Thank you for visiting today, I still have a lot to share so I hope you will come by again. For now Take care and Happy Crafting.xxx

With Love
I have really enjoyed pattern building with Leonie's collection as well as using the stamps in conjunction with the masks. They are a hugely useful collection to have in your crafty stash. For this I decided to make a card with just a focal point using one of Leonie's larger stamps. If you did happen to miss any of the shows, Don't forget they will be available via 'Rewind' on Hochanda's website.
To begin with I cut a square of watercolour card measuring 2 1/4'' using a basic die and stamped the 'Pansy' stamp with black Memento ink.
Then using another basic die, I cut another square this time around 3''. I then used the foliage to stamp around the edges with black Memento ink.
I also made myself a card base from the watercolour card giving me a 6'' square card for my finished piece.
Next I took a a sheet of copier paper (cut lengthwise). I placed the first piece about 1/2'' from the score line and the other about 1/2'' away to give me a narrow strip and secured with washi tape. Taking the foliage stamp again, I filled within the strip with Memento black ink.
I used the 'Love' stamp from a previous collection from Leonie, it was from the set of stamps which she launched with the mixed media dies. I stamped this onto my card base below where I would later place my topper.
With a selection of alcohol markers, I coloured in the Pansy and foliage.
I then stamped the butterfly onto watercolour card and coloured them to coordinate with the pansy.
Using foam tape I secured the pansy topper to the foliage square. I then stuck this to my card using Collall Tacky Glue from Crafters Companion. To finish my card, I used Collall 3D glue gel to arrange the butterflies.
Thank you for joining me today, I hope you like what I have made today and the step by step I have shared with you. I hope you will visit again. Take care and happy Crafting.xx

Starry Night
Today I am sharing a card from the collection Leonie launched on Hochanda at the beginning of the month. I have had a ball colouring them and really enjoyed crafting with them. I decided I wanted to make a larger village, complete with the Snowmen, Christmas Tree and Stars. I hope you can get the idea of just how versatile they are by changing colours they become completely different.
To create this scene I needed some paper masks, so I stamped them onto copier paper and cut them out. In the photo, there are some smaller elements that I didn't need, like the snowman etc, so please dont let that put you off.
Using the masks I plotted my design onto watercolour card using black Archival ink. I also used the star stamp in the sky and built the tree. For now I just had to imagine where the landscape would be
I masked all of the design with Pebeo Drawing gum and allowed it to dry.
Using torn copier paper, I created the landscape using mostly Shaded Lilac Distress ink, with just a little Blueprint Sketch.
For the watery sky I used Cobalt, Lavender, Arctic and Icicle Glitter Brush pens by Leonie. This time dabbing the colour from dark to light, I wanted texture in the sky rather than a smooth blend. I removed all of the drawing gum and coloured with my Alcohol markers.
Finally I used a Clear Overlay Sparkle pen to add a frosty/magical look and layered onto purple and blue Centura Pearl card from Crafters Companion using Cosmic Shimmer glue.
Thank you for stopping by today, I really hope you like this card and the step by step I have shared today. I look forward to seeing you again soon. Take care and Happy Crafting.xx

I love to Laugh
I apologise in advance for anyone who gets this song stuck in their heads, Like I have even as I write this I can hear it in my head. lol I had just watched Mary Poppins before I was using the 'Laugh' Mask. I have also used the stamps that Leonie Launched on Hochanda on Thursday along with some from her previous launch.
I positioned 'Laugh' using Stick n Spray from Crafters Companion. I also secured some copier paper that I had torn to mask off and give me a centre strip to add my colour.
Using Distress Inks to add my colour, I used Squeezed Lemonade, then Spiced Marmalade and blended to remove any joins, the third colour was Candied Apple. For the opposite side of the strip I used Salty Ocean, which also gave me the green I wanted, then Blueprint Sketch and finally Chipped Sapphire. I then removed the copier paper when I was happy with the blending.
To add the 'Love' I used the stamp from Leonie's last collection, I cut this up so I could stagger the letters and place the back to front 'E'. I then masked off the 'L' so that I could use just the empty box and add the letter 'I' and 'To' Below the colour strip I used the 'HO HO HO' stamp and changed it to read 'HA HA HA' I coloured the piece in using a selection of Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers.
I built up my design, making sure to keep it balanced, I also used some stamps behind a couple of the letter boxes.
I hope you like this fun card and the step by step I have shared today. Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you will visit again very soon. Take care and Happy Crafting.xxx

Under The Sea
There are some marvellous stamps from Leonie's collection, If you missed any of the shows they will be available on 'Rewind' via the Hochanda Website. For this card I have used stamps from the 'Deep Blue' Set of stamps. It has a wonderful Sea Horse, I used to keep Seahorses before I moved to Bulgaria, they really are amazing creatures, I could watch them for hours, it's so relaxing. There are many more brilliant under the sea themed stamps in the set as well enabling you to build some beautiful scenes.
For this shaped card, I started with a 6' square card base made with Sheena Stamping card.. I positioned 'Magic' using Stick n Spray before stamping a line of lovely zentangled scallop seashells, to overlap them I used a mask made from copier paper.
Next I created the under the sea scene and masked with Pebeo Drawing Gum.
To colour the water, I used 3 colours of Distress ink, applied with a sponge, allowing each colour to dry before applying the next. I used Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon and Mowed Lawn. Once this was dry I cut around the scalloped edge to get the shaped card I was after.
I was going to be adding acetate to the back of the front panel so to hide the adhesive, I took a piece of green pearl card and drew the outline. I then cut out and embossed using Leonie's 'Bubble Explosion' folder.
On the inside of the card I stamped the seahorses, bubbles and fish, then masked to allow me to colour the background.
For the inside colour I used the same colours and technique as for the outside. When dry I removed the drawing gum.
Finally I coloured my project with a selection of alcohol markers. Then I added the acetate which I had cut to size and added the card backing to cover the adhesive.
I really hope you like this card and the step by step I have shared with you today. Thank you for taking the time to visit and I hope you will visit again very soon. Take care and Happy Crafting.xxx

Home
It was such great fun designing with this collection from Leonie. This particular collection was launched on Hochanda on 5th October, so if you missed any of the shows they might just be still available on the Catch Up facility on their website, they are well worth watching but I would be quick.
For this card I used the houses and build a tree stamps along with the 'Dotty Days' and 'It's Snowing' embossing folders. I started by stamping the main elements onto some Neenah Desert Storm card from Crafters Companion, this is extremely smooth card and takes colour beautifully, while still giving that Kraft feel and look. I added a couple of different roofs by stamping a section of the 'Build a Tree' stamp and masking before stamping the houses.
Using my alcohol markers I coloured my images.
I cut an A4 sheet of red Centura Pearl from the Brights collection from Crafters Companion to 8'' square.
Next I took a sheet of 8'' square parchment and embossed it using the 'It's Snowing' Folder. This was passed through twice to emboss the whole piece, it's very easy to extend the pattern without any marks.
Taking two A4 strips of Neenah Desert Storm. Just wide enough to take the swirl emboss from the Dotty Days folder, I ran through my machine. This was also easy to match up, I needed the extra length to cover the top and bottom of the finished card.
I then cut out all of the elements and set aside ready to assemble.
I secured the parchment to my card using Wonder Tape at the top and bottom leaving the two sides free of adhesive. I positioned the embossed card with foam tape to give more depth. These were both placed so it was part of the tail emboss that would be trimmed off to size (see photo).
To secure all of the elements to the card I used Collall 3D glue gel to stagger them at different levels, I did the same with the Home. Lastly I took my white Pebeo 4Artist Marker and highlighted the dots, this finished my card.
Thank you so much for visiting today, I hope you have enjoyed the step by step I have shared and the finished card. Hope to see you again tomorrow, Take care and Happy Crafting.xx
